Public Ticket

We’ve been blown away by the demand for Japfest Silverstone 2024. So much so, that the main public parking areas are now full. We are now working to secure additional parking, however, the unseasonably wet weather means we are awaiting a survey from ground inspectors before confirming the overflow parking area we have available. While we await this report, we are temporarily suspending ticket sales for those who do not already have a parking pass.

07 April 2024

Due to phenomenal demand, we have now had to stop ticket sales for this Sunday’s Japfest at Silverstone. We’ve been truly blown away by the popularity of the show, and we would like to express our gratitude for the support from all our visitors, clubs and commercial partners. There will be no on-the-day tickets available for purchase.

If you’re able to travel as a passenger in an existing car that has already booked a Club or Special Display pass, then you can still buy tickets here.

Stay tuned to our social channels for any updates between now and Sunday. Remember when coming to the show to follow signage not your sat nav. Please be respectful of the neighbouring communities as you arrive and leave the venue on the day by keeping within the speed limits and minimising noise wherever possible.

We’re looking forward to a fabulous show with more club cars than ever before plus track action and drifting throughout the day. If you are coming, have a wonderful time, and we hope to see you at some of our other events in 2024, including TRAX Silverstone on 1st September and Classic Japfest at Goodwood on 6th October.

Gates are open to the public from 10:00, and Clubs and Special Displays from 07:00. The event closes at 17:00.

Is the event solely for Japanese models?
Yes – all cars being displayed or going out on track must be Japanese. Visitors can park their cars in the public car park no matter what make or model.

Are motorcycles allowed to be displayed at the show?
No, we’re afraid motorcycles are not allowed to display at this event.

Will there be a cash point on site?
No, there are no cash points on site. Most traders and catering facilities will allow card payments.
However, we advise you to bring cash as not all trade stands will accept card payments.

Can I bring my pet?
No. To comply with the venue’s rules, no animals are allowed on site, apart from assistant dogs. If you do intend to bring an assistance dog, before your arrival, you must email us at shows@kelsey.co.uk so the necessary arrangements can be made.

Are there food units on site?
There are many food and bar units and a permanent on-site cafeteria open throughout the day. You can bring your own food and drink into the show if you prefer. Glass bottles are not permitted and will be confiscated.

Are BBQ’s allowed on site?
No BBQ’s are not permitted.

Do I have to pay to park in the public car park?
This year we have introduced a parking charge of £5 per vehicle to park in the car parks on site. This is due to unprecedented demand, ensuring we can accurately monitor capacity and ensure we can get you parked and into the show as smoothly as possible.

As part of your ticket purchase, you can select the Public Car Park Pass and will be asked for your vehicle details. If you change your vehicle, you can log into your account and edit the vehicle details, or contact us here and we can update it for you.

If you do not purchase a parking pass you will not be permitted entry into the on site car parks and will be turned away.

TICKET QUESTIONS

I want to buy tickets, how can I do that?
Due to phenomenal demand, we have now had to stop ticket sales for the show. If you’re making your own way to the event, the only ticket option now is a combined camping ticket, which includes overnight camping at Whittlebury Park Campsite. Prices are £42 per adult and £15 per child. You must arrive at the campsite between 10:00 – 22:00 on the Saturday. No entry will be permitted on Sunday morning. You will leave your car at the campsite and walk into the venue, you are not permitted to park in the onsite Silverstone car parks, you will be turned away.

I’ve booked a Club / Special Display Vehicle pass, can I bring a passenger in my car?
Yes, you can still book a ticket if you are arriving in a car that has already booked a Club or Special Display pass.
Please select an Adult Entry Ticket – Passenger in Club / Display Car ticket. During the ticket purchase, you will be asked to input the registration of the vehicle that you are booking as a passenger in so your order can be aligned to their vehicle pass.
Please ensure you have the vehicle information before you start your booking.

Why can’t I park on site?

We’ve been blown away by the popularity of the show this year and have filled the on-site Silverstone car parks. We therefore can sell no further tickets to those who are arriving in a vehicle that needs public parking.

Why have you introduced a Parking Pass this year?
Since ticket sales went on sale, we have been selling Parking Passes which were free with early bird tickets. It means that we can more accurately monitor the capacity and ensure we can get your parked and into the show as smoothly as possible.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?
There will be no tickets for sale on the day. If you do not have advanced tickets and a parking pass do not travel to the show. You will be turned away.

I haven’t received a Parking Pass?
You will not receive a physical pass, there will be ANPR cameras on entry to the venue car parks checking against the details you inputted when you booked your pass. It is vital that the vehicle you arrive in corresponds to the vehicle you have booked.

Alternatively, please email your booking reference and new vehicle details to us on shows@kelsey.co.uk and we can update it for you.Stay tuned to our social channels for any updates between now and Sunday.
