What time does the show open?
Gates are open to the public from 10:00, Clubs and Special Displays from 08:00.
The event closes at 17:00.
Is the event solely for VW Transporters?
Yes – all vans being displayed must be a VW transporter.
Are credit cards accepted on the gate?
Yes, credit or debit cards can be used on the gate.
Can I bring my pet?
While dogs are allowed at the event. We do have some rules that
will need to be followed:
Are there food units on site?
There are many food and bar units on-site and open throughout the day. You can bring your own food and drink into the show if you prefer. Glass bottles are not permitted and will be confiscated.
Are BBQ’s allowed on site?
Fitted gas stoves inside vans can be used as well as gas stoves and gas BBQ’s, raised onto tables or stands. Any cooking below table height is not allowed. Please do not take a BBQ inside a campervan, tent or similar, for both the fire and carbon monoxide risks.
Are we allowed to bring generators?
Unfortunately, private generators are not allowed.
Can we bring our motorised leisure scooters, bikes or skateboards?
Unfortunately, these are not permitted at the event. Electric mobility scooters are permitted however.
How can I buy ticket?
Tickets are purchased online. Advanced ticket sales close midnight (GMT) on the Friday before the event. Tickets can also be purchased on the gate from 10:00. If you are attending within a display van and you haven’t got a ticket, you can purchase a ticket on the day from 07:00.
Can you purchase tickets over the phone?
All tickets are purchased online through our ticketing system. If you have any problems please give us a call on 01959 541444.
Can I get a refund for my tickets once I’ve bought them?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Do I have to print the tickets?
The tickets are valid printed off OR on your smart phone, as long as the barcode is clear.
My tickets haven’t arrived yet, when will I get them?
General admission tickets are emailed out to you upon completion of payment. Please check your junk or spam folder. If you have not received your tickets, please contact a member of our team.
I selected booking protection with my order and I can no longer attend the event, how can I claim this?

Are there facilities on the campsite?
There are toilet and water points scattered around the camping areas. Elsan points are also available for chemical toilet disposal. There is also limited shower facilities.
Are there any catering facilities when camping?
There is an onsite catering unit open until late where you can purchase a range of street food, burgers and breakfasts. This unit also sells soft drinks and has a licensed bar.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes, you can but no glass bottles.
Are we allowed fire pits, fires, fireworks or Chinese lanterns?
No, none of the above is permitted at the event.
Can we bring our caravan or motorhome?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your caravan or motorhome but please be aware that this is at the owners discretion.
Can I park next to my tent?
Yes, vehicles are parked with your tents, so we ask you to restrict movement as much as possible so not to cause a disturbance to other campers nearby.
Is there are noise curfew?
We allow modest sound systems, but please be mindful of others around you as noise travels. Noise curfews within the family camping area is 22:00. Elsewhere, there will be no noise after 23.00. After this time, ALL music and engines must be switched off completely. Anyone found breaching this will be asked to leave the grounds by security.
Will our possessions be safe?
The campsite has security, but we would advise that you keep any valuables with you or leave them at home. Kelsey Publishing Ltd and the Kent County Showground accepts no liability for loss or damage to any personal property.

Campsite Rules:
All guests are responsible for assisting with the enforcement of the campsite rules, by being vigilant and notifying security immediately of any incidents.
In the event of non-compliance, guests may be asked to leave the campsite and/or the event organisers will be informed which may result in event entry being cancelled without refund.
